I love to chase adventure and explore history, my past exploits have seen me cast my own sword, live for a week in a reconstructed medieval village, and three weeks onboard a replica medieval ship!

I earned my first class history degree at Bath Spa University and gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Theory at the University of East Anglia. My dissertation, ‘Armour in Death’, saw me travel the length and breadth of the country to rediscover knights from long ago. This passion for history is central to all I do.

In 2016 I was overjoyed when the History Press published my book 'Norwich in 100 Dates'. When I'm not taking trips to the past, I keep myself busy by going on adventures to explore the world and running a small publishing house.
